Want an iPhone 11? You can pre-order on Amazon, Flipkart from September 20


California, USA based tech giant, Apple launched its latest offerings in mobile phones on September 10. iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max make up the iPhone 11 series which grabbed attention for the relatively competitive (by Apple standards) pricing (especially for iPhone 11). The devices aren't available in the market yet but preorders are to start soon.
India’s leading e-commerce platforms Amazon India and Flipkart will accept Apple iPhone 11-series preorders starting from September 20, before the sale commences on September 27. The series includes three smartphones; the iPhone 11, the iPhone 11 Pro and the iPhone 11 Pro Max. The iPhone 11 will be available in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB storage configuration in purple, green, yellow, black, white and PRODUCT(RED) colours starting at Rs 64,900. The iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max will be available in 64GB, 256GB and 512GB storage configurations in midnight green, space grey, silver and gold starting at Rs 99,900 and Rs 109,900, respectively. Read Complete Article

Apple acquires weather app Dark Sky, to shut down Android version in June

Apple  has acquired popular weather app Dark Sky and will shut down its Android and Wear OS versions in July. However, terms of the deal was not disclosed. According to Dark Sky, service to existing users and subscribers will continue until July 1, at which point the app will be shut down. Subscribers who are still active at that time will receive a refund. The Android app of Dark Sky has been downloaded more than a million times on playstore. "Our goal has always been to provide the world with the best weather information possible, to help as many people as we can stay dry and safe, and to do so in a way that respects your privacy," Dark Sky co-founder Adam Grossman said in a statement on Tuesday. "There is no better place to accomplish these goals than at Apple. We're thrilled to have the opportunity to reach far more people, with far more impact, than we ever could alone," he added. Finance Ministry tells state-run banks to shore up credit to MSMEs

Union Budget 2019 : The finance ministry has told the chief executives of all public sector banks (PSBs) to review credit facilities made available to micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and take ‘corrective’ measures to ensure the firms get adequate funds. The finance ministry has told the PSB chief executives in an official communication to assign a chief general manager, or a general manager-level officer to “do an in-depth analysis of the progress made and issues in availability of credit, still being faced by the MSMEs”. While taking “corrective actions” and doing the analysis, nodal general managers are supposed to submit details to the finance ministry of MSMEs taking credit from banks, non-performing MSME accounts, MSME accounts restructured following to the Reserve Bank of India's (RBI's) January scheme and the MSMEs still uncovered by it, among others.
